Crewe, 1st October 2020

Radius Payment Solutions, a diversified provider of B2B services including telecoms, fuel cards, vehicle tracking and insurance, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Connect Total Communications.

Founded in 2007, Connect Total Communications is a business telecoms provider headquartered in Belfast, Northern Ireland and with additional offices in Aberdeen and Lewes. Connect Total Communications’ products and services include landlines and mobiles, business broadband and IT apps, which it delivers as a unified communications solution for its business customers.

This well-established company is Northern Ireland’s biggest and fastest-growing challenger to dominant player BT in the business telecoms market and was founded by Matthew Brown.

Bill Holmes, CEO of Radius, commented: “We are really looking forward to working with Matt and his team as they have built a really strong business based around both excellent products and great customer service. Our plan is to continue to build on this base and add some of the other elements we have been developing within our telecoms division which will help us accelerate going forward. We welcome Matt and the team to the group and look forward to working closely together over the coming weeks and months.”

This acquisition represents the sixth by Radius in this sector in the last two years, and substantially increases its mobile base as well as its geographical footprint.

Ray Ferris, Managing Director of Radius Connect, said:
“The acquisition of Connect Total Communications adds scale to our growing business and enables us to push into a new territory with an established business that has a strong presence in Northern Ireland. We will look to grow the Connect customer base in line with our ambition across the rest of the group whilst continuing to look for further acquisitions to support the buy and build strategy”.

The acquisition was supported by Ernst and Young with financial due diligence and with legal support from Addleshaw Goddard and completed on 30th September 2020.
